What we do
Our history goes back over 135 years and we continue to raise money to buy medical and nursing equipment and to provide comforts and benefits for patients at St Thomas’ Hospital.
You can download a full list of gifts to wards and departments (PDF 8Kb) to the end of March 2015, or see a copy in the Friends of St Thomas' shop. You can also download the trustees' financial statements at March 2015 (PDF 53Kb).
How we raise money
The Friends of St Thomas' raise money in a number of ways, including:
- the Christmas market
- mini markets and book sales
- gift aid
- the Friends' shop.
The Friends shop
The Friends shop is a mainstay for raising funds and is situated on the ground floor by the entrance to the Lambeth Wing. It is managed and run entirely by volunteers and is open Monday-Friday, 10.30am-3pm.
It stocks a wide range of items including jewellery, gifts, greeting cards and hospital memorabilia.
