Preparing for membership exams
We run courses, in conjunction with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, to prepare candidates for the college's membership exams.
MRCPCH clinical
This course aims to prepare candidates for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health| membership (MRCPCH) clinical examination. It includes clinical short cases and practice in communication skills and ethics and history taking and management planning. The course concludes with a mock exam and individual feedback on performance.
The course is run over a week, 3 times a year.
Fee: £1,400.
Please note priority bookings are given to doctors working for Guy's and St Thomas'.
Internal candidates (Guy's, St Thomas', Lewisham, and King's College Hospitals) can apply straight away. They have a deadline of 8 weeks before the course to apply, and must send back the application form and cheque to be guaranteed a place.
Please note: to be considered an internal applicant, you need to be working for Guy's and St Thomas' or our partner organisations mentioned above when you apply.
External candidates are placed on a waiting list and only offered a place if there are spaces left after the deadline for internal candidates has passed.
