Academic debate
The academic reading group sessions are an opportunity to explore medical education literature - in particular, on simulation as an educational intervention.
How the sessions work
One article is chosen as the basis of each session of the reading group.
The article for discussion is distributed well in advance; attendees should read and consider it before attending the session.
"Set up to support medical education fellows at the SaIL centre, the reading group provides, in concert with the reading group held by Dr Chris Holland at King's College Hospital (KCH), an opportunity for collegiality and intellectual engagement among medical education fellows, simulation fellows and others interested in simulation and medical education across King's Health Partners," says Dr Gabriel Ready, educational research lead.
