Ann Macintyre our Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, has been given the President’s award for outstanding lifetime achievement by Healthcare People Management Association.
The award was given for Ann’s achievements in over 30 years experience in healthcare human resource management. Winners are voted for by their peers in healthcare human resources across the UK. The nomination praised Ann for her extraordinary ability to build high performing, highly motivated teams, to spot and develop talent, to inspire, to innovate, to understand inside out the business of healthcare. She actively promotes equality and diversity and partnership working with the local community.
It described her as having a thirst for new ways of working, a love of innovation and being an inspirational leader.

Ann Macintyre said: “I feel extremely honoured and overwhelmed by this award, which came as a complete surprise. I really hope I have inspired other HR managers to become good leaders too, to get the best of out of their staff which leads to the best health outcomes for patients. “
