The purpose of the workshop is to help us understand your experiences of how we communicate with you. From the time you are referred to the hospital, through diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care. We are keen to hear about your experiences – what worked well and what didn’t. This might include:
- your experiences of booking, re-arranging or cancelling appointments
- the methods of communication we currently use (telephone calls and letters) to give you information about your ongoing care (eg test results, treatment and medication)
- the appointments you have with doctors and nurses.
Your views will help us to develop a picture of what it is like to be a patient. You might also have some ideas about how we can improve patients’ experiences.
