About the service

Dimbleby Cancer Care is a support and information service for patients and their carers from south east London and west Kent. 

Our staff work closely with the clinical teams to ensure that you have all the information and support you need while having cancer treatment at Guy's and St Thomas'.

We also offer cancer-related information to staff and other health care professionals.

Support available

Complementary therapyOur staff are health care professionals from a cancer background. We can help you to understand about your disease and the treatments offered. We have a selection of  information booklets, leaflets, videos and tapes and can do internet searches for you.

We also offer:

  • psychological support
  • complementary therapies such as aromatherapy and reflexology
  • information about support available to you, such as benefits advice 
  • support groups
  • yoga
  • healthy eating sessions

I went to Dimbleby for some counselling. It just felt nice to have some time for me when I could concentrate on talking about me and how I was feeling.
