Biography
Alison Lashwood is a registered nurse and genetic counsellor. She has been at Guy’s for over 20 years and during that time has been instrumental in the development of a clinical service for Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
She is currently clinical lead for the Genetics PGD service.
Alison also has a special interest in late onset genetic disorders and is involved with specialist clinics for Huntington disease. She works with other genetic counsellors and consultants in the prenatal diagnostic team.
