Dr Christine Patch originally trained as a nurse at Guy's Hospital. She returned in 2006 as a consultant genetic counsellor and manager. She is also reader in clinical genetics (honorary) and a research and development lead for genetics.
Christine is committed to providing quality genomic health care for patients and families, both in the specialist genetics service and helping develop services across all specialties.
She is a member and past member of various professional and advisory bodies including past chair of the British Society for Genomic Medicine and member of the UK Human Genetics Commission.
