  • Biography

    • Sara has worked as a genetic counsellor at Guy’s since 1998.
    • Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
    • Tay Sachs screening clinic. In 2011 Sara led the introduction of a new test, screening for eight other Jewish genetic disorders.
    • In 2009 Sara was funded by the UK NSC to review Tay Sachs screening services, in collaboration with the Public Health Genetics Foundation.
    • Sara sits on the Medical Advisory Committees of two charities: ‘Chana’; and Jewish Genetic Disorders UK.
    • Together with JGD UK, Sara supervised the introduction of the new screening test at community outreach events in 2014.
