Referral contact
We accept referrals from GPs, internal referrals or another hospital doctor for any gastrointestinal condition.

Routine referrals
All referrals including enquiries regarding new appointments should be directed to the patient access team. Please identify the speciality you are referring to rather than the specific surgeon.
The patient will receive the first available appointment in the most appropriate clinic.
Referrals from other hospitals must include a completed Inter-Provider Minimum Data Set or ensure that one is sent within 48 hours of referring a patient.
Urgent referrals
For urgent two week wait referrals, please email the two week wait office at gst-tr.2wwgstt@nhs.net, within 24 hours of the GP consultation. For any further enquiries regarding two week waits, please call 020 7188 0902.
