Clinics

Outpatient clinics take place every Monday afternoon. If you need to have surgery, this will take place in the Riverside theatres on a Monday morning. Surgery is performed as a day case, meaning that you will not need to stay overnight. You will need to bring someone with you to escort you home on the day of surgery.

How do I get an appointment?

You can be referred to our service via your GP or consultant. However, you must be registered with a GP in Lewisham. Alternatively, you can get a referral from any Allied Health Professional, for example a podiatrist or a physiotherapist.

  • Cancelling or changing your appointment

A secretary is available via the telephone number above on Mondays and Tuesdays. You can leave a voicemail message at all other times.

  • Before your appointment

A health questionnaire will be sent with your appointment confirmation. This needs to be completed before your appointment and handed in when you see us.

  • What to expect at your appointment

Your first appointment will be with a member of the surgery team and will last between 20-30 minutes. Depending on your condition, you may or may not need to be seen by the consultant.

  • After your appointment

Depending on the outcome of your appointment, you may be asked to attend a follow-up appointment. Your GP will be contacted should you be booked for surgery. If you have any concerns please contact our secretary.
