Urology department
Urology is a surgical speciality, covering the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs.
Our service is based in a state-of-the-art urology centre at Guy's Hospital, where most of our clinical activities take place. All newly referred patients are offered appointments within 2 - 4 weeks and are seen in a one-stop clinic where they can be assessed and have a range of investigations at the same time, if necessary.
We provide all of our urology services at Guy's hospital, while offering clinics, day surgery and emergency services at Lewisham University Hospital.
We offer services to patients from Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham as well as further afield for some of our specialist activities.
