Improving services for our LGBT community

Posted on Tuesday 29 October 2013

If you are lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender and have used any of Guy’s and St Thomas’ services (or you are a carer, partner or family member of someone who has) we would love to hear your opinions. You can share your experiences and what you think could be done better in our new patient group.

Associate Director of Equality and Human Rights, Staynton Brown, says: “London has a diverse LGBT community who use our services, and the Trust’s local boroughs also have the highest number of gay men in the UK.

“We want to deliver excellent care for all our patients. This new patient group will help us to understand and improve the experiences of LGBT patients, their families and carers.”

The first meeting of this group will be on Wednesday 6 November, 6-8pm, at Burfoot Court in Counting House, Guy's Hospital.
