Women’s retail company Warehouse brought Christmas to Evelina London Children’s Hospital on Wednesday 17 December by turning its glass atrium into the North Pole.

Warehouse spent more than two days decorating the atrium and turning it into a winter wonderland full of excitement including a Santa’s grotto, presents, face painting and lots of festive cheer.

During 2014, Warehouse’s fundraising team hosted activities including bake sales, sample sales, auctions and a Warehouse store-to-store relay marathon to raise a grand total of £6,088 for Evelina London.

This is Warehouse’s fifth year of support for Evelina London.

Laura Warden-Brown, one of this year’s chief fundraisers at Warehouse, says: ”As a successful company, we feel it is very important to give back to the community. Evelina London is such an important charity for Warehouse, as it is very close to all of our hearts. We love coming back year after year to put a smile on these children’s faces.”

Marian Ridley, Director of Evelina London, adds: “We are so grateful to Warehouse for all that they do for us. We look forward to the Christmas party every year. They really do bring Christmas into the heart of the hospital which means that children who can’t be home for Christmas get to experience the fun and joy of the festivities.”

The decorations will stay up for children and visitors in the Evelina London atrium until the New Year.
