Hannah Coffey has been appointed as the new Director of Operations for Hospital Services at Guy’s and St Thomas’
Hannah Coffey has been appointed as the new Director of Operations for Hospital Services at Guy’s and St Thomas’.
She brings a wealth of NHS experience to this role to lead work to ensure the smooth running of high quality services at two of London’s biggest and busiest hospitals.
Hannah has been Chief Operating Officer at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where she has led the ‘Right Place, Right Time’ programme which has significantly improved the quality of care for emergency patients across all aspects of their hospital stay.
Her previous experience includes three years as Director of Operations at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and a number of roles at Hillingdon Hospital and Hillingdon Primary Care Trust in north west London.
She says: “I am thrilled to have been offered this opportunity and genuinely excited to be joining the team at Guy’s and St Thomas’. The Trust has had a really great year and my priority will be to work with colleagues to ensure we continue to innovate and provide excellent services for our patients in an increasingly challenging financial climate.”
