More than 300 people attended the LGBT History Month event

More than 300 people attended an event to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) History Month at St Thomas’ Hospital yesterday, Thursday 26 February.

The LGBT staff forum put together a fun event including music from The London Gay Big Band, a gay history quiz and a rainbow cake.

To coincide with LGBT History Month, Jayne King, co-chair of the LGBT staff forum and the Trust’s Head of Security, has been telling her story about working in an organisation that gives her "the strength, security and support to be who I want to be and the best that I can."

Read Jayne's blog which has already been viewed more than 300 times on the King’s Health Partners blog site.
