Apprentices at Guy’s and St Thomas’ will show off their skills during National Apprenticeship Week, which runs from 14-18 March.

More than 65 apprentices work in areas from project management and portering to IT and hotel services.  We also have apprentices in receptionist and patient appointment booking roles, and a variety of specialist areas such as language support services and HR.

Over three days, they will take part in activities to find out more about the Trust and learn new skills from colleagues and former apprentices.

Ann Macintyre, Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, says: “We’re really proud of what our apprentices achieve during their time with us. National Apprenticeship Week is a chance for them to show everyone what they can do and to encourage managers from across the Trust to think about how apprentices help to deliver the best possible services to patients.”

You can meet the apprentices at an event on Wednesday 16 March in Central Hall and find out what it takes to join the Trust’s apprenticeship programmes.
