The cancer risk assessment team are running stalls throughout October, which is breast awareness month. They will be available to discuss and provide information about breast awareness, breast cancer risk factors, and cancer family history.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the UK. It affects 1 in 8 women in their lifetime. Being breast aware is hugely important to women of all ages. It is essential to get to know how your breasts look and feel, so that you will be confident in noticing any unusual changes.
