Andrew Williams

Consultant colorectal pelvic floor surgeon
Biography
Andrew Williams qualified form Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in 1991 and is a specialist in pelvic floor surgery and assessment as well as anal fistula disease.
He was appointed as a consultant colorectal surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in 2003 and is the clinical director of the Pelvic Floor Unit and lead clinician for the enhanced recovery program for patients undergoing major colorectal surgery.
He has a keen interest in the treatment and surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, including surgery for recurrent Crohn’s disease and ileo-anal pouch reconstruction for ulcerative colitis.
Andrew is the treasurer of the Pelvic Floor Society.
