Area of expertise: paediatric cardiology
Dr Baruteau was appointed as consultant paediatric and adult congenital interventional cardiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2017.
After training in adult cardiology at Rennes University Hospital in France, he was first appointed consultant in paediatric and adult congenital interventional cardiology at the Marie-Lannelongue Hospital in Paris, France in 2011 and then served as honorary consultant paediatric interventional cardiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London in 2016.
From a research perspective, Dr Baruteau has worked as a research fellow at L’Institut du Thorax (Nantes, France), the LIRYC Institute (Bordeaux, France), Columbia University Medical Center (New York, USA) and St George’s University of London (London, UK).
