Dr Paresh Mehta is a consultant cardiologist working at St Thomas’ Hospital and University Hospital Lewisham.
He trained in general medicine in north-west London and achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2002. He then completed a medical doctorate at Imperial College London and The Royal Brompton Hospital in the field of heart failure.
His specialist training in cardiology and heart failure was at Harefield, Royal Brompton and St Thomas' Hospitals and he received CCT in 2011. He has since worked as a full time consultant cardiologist with a specialist interest in heart failure, cardiomyopathy and heart rhythm device therapy including implantation of pacemakers, defibrillator and biventricular pacing devices.
