Sarah Janikoun, associate specialist in ophthalmology
Sarah Janikoun has worked as an associate specialist in ophthalmology at our hospital for 20 years.
She has an interest in medical contact lenses used for high myopia and hypermetropia and irregular corneal diseases such as keratoconus and corneal grafts.
She also treats diabetic patients who have eye problems, including with laser treatment.
Sarah was President of the Medical Contact Lens and Ocular Surface Association and British Contact Lens Association.
She is Trustee of the South London Resource Centre for visually impaired people which organises the low vision service for the hospital and increasingly in the community.
