Cherylin Reinholtz is the Senior Genetics research nurse based at Guy's Hospital and has worked in Genetics for over 5 years. As an experienced adult registered nurse of 15 years her experience has been ENT, Maxillofacial, Asthma and Allergy, Genetics in Twin research. She has worked in research for 11 years working both at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital and King's Health Partners . She has developed the dedicated research team in the Genetics Department who recruit to NIHR portfolio studies to both cancer and non cancer. She has considerable experience in clinical trials and has in depth knowledge of early phase clinical trials and drug trial processes.
The research team collaborate with several research groups nationally with recruiting participants to the Muskateers studies, an interventional study and many cancer and non-cancer studies. She manages the research team and ensures that both children and adults who are interested in research studies are aware of the research that is available to them. She is also responsible for managing the portfolio of studies and she has a keen interest in expanding the current portfolio to commercial and other interventional studies.
