  • Biography

    Simon Shaw is a consultant in rehabilitation medicine at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He works in the Lane Fox Respiratory Unit. He manages neurological disability including polio and post-polio syndrome and other neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and spasticity from all causes.

    He is also the lead clinician at the Bowley Close Regional Rehabilitation Centre, which includes the prosthetic, orthotic, specialist seating, and augmentative and alternative communication services. 

    He helps patients recover from injury and illness. He is also a disability specialist for managing the long term effects of illness, improving quality of life and wider functioning.
