Christos Kleanthis is a senior specialty doctor in reproductive medicine, assisted conception and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) at Guy’s and St Thomas’.
Christos graduated in 2003 and obtained his specialty qualification in obstetrics and gynecology in 2012.
He was awarded an MSc research degree in female reproduction, as well as a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Christos has worked in the NHS since 2012. During this time, he developed a special interest in open and minimal access surgery for benign gynecological disease, for which he received advanced training, certified by the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists (RCOG).
He later took a year out to offer specialist services for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Christos joined Guy’s Hospital assisted conception unit and centre for preimplantation genetic diagnosis in 2017.
