  • Biography

    Taner Kasapoglu is a senior specialty doctor in reproductive medicine, assisted conception and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) at Guy's and St Thomas'. He joined the assisted conception unit and centre for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis in 2020.

    Taner graduated with distinction from medical school in 2008 and obtained his specialty qualification degree in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2013, in Turkey. During his education, he studied at Yale University's division of reproductive endocrinology and infertility as a visiting trainee. He was awarded a Master of Science degree (with thesis) in epidemiology in 2016 due to his special interest in research.

    Taner is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the British Fertility Society. He completed a fellowship in Harris Birthright Research Centre, King's College Hospital and has worked in obstetrics and gynaecology in the NHS since 2016.

    Taner completed a Harvard global clinical scholars research training program with a scholarship and has published original articles in various peer-reviewed journals.
