Coronavirus: orthodontics update

All routine orthodontic appointments have now been cancelled and all orthodontic emergency services at Guy’s Hospital have been moved to a virtual, video-conferencing platform. We shall, of course, endeavour to be available for advice. We shall triage via video consultation, give advice and arrange to see you at the hospital, only if necessary.

The service is available to patients already under our care from 9am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, and may be accessed via the the NHS Attend website with a smartphone, laptop or tablet using Chrome v72.

We are sorry for any inconvenience but in view of the national emergency, which has been declared, please do not come to Guy's Hospital for your orthodontic emergency.

In the meantime, please ensure that you are maintaining oral health by brushing twice daily, using a fluoride mouthwash and interdental cleaning, as recommended, and reducing the consumption of sugar and carbonated drinks.
