Across Guy’s and St Thomas’ services, we will soon be moving to digital letters for outpatient appointment letters.
What will this mean for me?
If you have a mobile number stored on our system, you can log in via a link in the DrDoctor digital letter text message and view your appointment letter online. Once you view a letter online, you will no longer receive paper copies of future appointment letters (unless you change your mind).
If we do not have a mobile number for you, you will still receive paper copies of your letters, without needing to take any action.
If you do not click on the link in the text message to view your letter online, you will automatically receive a paper copy of the letter in the post.
Changed your mind?
You can go back to receiving paper letters at any time by logging in to DrDoctor and updating your letter preferences.
You can also opt out of all text messages by replying ‘STOP’ to the most recent text message.
To enable us to deliver our services, DrDoctor will have access to your contact information but not to detailed information about your health.
Please make sure we have the right contact details for you. You can check or make changes to your details online, by calling or emailing us, or at reception on your next visit to the hospital.
