Refractory overactive bladder clinic

Opening times: Monday mornings (weekly)

This clinic is for people who have an overactive bladder that has not improved with medication.

You'll discuss further treatments for your condition. This can include bladder botox injections and sacral nerve stimulation.

Your GP or specialist doctor can refer you to this clinic.

This clinic is led by consultants.

Bladder botox injection clinic

Opening times: Monday mornings (weekly)

This clinic is for people with an overactive bladder to receive bladder botox injections.

Our functional urology team will assess you before coming to this clinic.

This clinic is led by a consultant, specialist registrar and specialist nurse.

Sacral nerve stimulation clinic

This clinic is for people having, or being considered, for treatment with sacral nerve stimulation.

Our functional urology team will assess you before coming to this clinic.

This clinic is led by a clinical scientist.

Recurrent urinary tract infection clinic

Opening times: Monday afternoons (monthly)

This clinic is to assess and treat people with recurrent, complex and chronic urinary tract infection.

This clinic is led by consultants Sachin Malde and Rhana Zakri. They’re supported by a microbiologist, specialist nurse and specialist pharmacist.

Post-prostatectomy clinic

Location: Urology Centre, 1st floor, Southwark Wing, Guy's Hospital, Great Maze Pond, London SE1 9RT

Opening times: twice a month

We'll see you at this clinic if you’ve had your prostate gland removed (radical prostatectomy) due to prostate cancer.

We manage conditions resulting from your surgery, including erectile dysfunction  and urinary incontinence.

This clinic is led by consultants and clinical nurse specialists.

Urological pain neuromodulation clinic

Location: Gassiot House, St Thomas’ Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7EH

Opening times: monthly

This clinic is for people with:

  • bladder and pelvic pain that has not responded to medication
  • a combination of nerve pain and lower urinary tract dysfunction, including
    • cauda equina syndrome
    • spinal related problems
    • failed spinal surgery

This clinic is run with the pain service. It is led by consultants Arun Sahai and Stefano Palmisani.

Pelvic floor clinic

This clinic is for people with combined bladder, bowel and vaginal prolapse symptoms. For more information see our pelvic floor service.

This clinic is led jointly by a specialist consultant in urology, urogynaecology and colorectal pelvic floor.

Urodynamics clinic

Opening times: daily 

This clinic offers state-of-the-art investigation into the underlying cause of lower urinary tract symptoms and urinary incontinence. This includes standard, video and ambulatory urodynamic investigation.

It is led by clinical scientists.
