  • Senior management team

    Dr Claire Mallinson, director of postgraduate medical education

    Claire is a consultant anaesthetist and has been involved in training doctors since she was a specialist registrar.

    She was a college tutor for 30 trainee anaesthetists until she took on her current role.

    Claire is a board member of the National Association of Clinical Tutors (NACT/UK).


    Dr Camilla Kingdon, deputy director of postgraduate medical education

    Camilla is a consultant neonatologist at St Thomas' Hospital.

    She has a long-standing interest in postgraduate medical education and is a Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health| regional adviser for south east Thames and a training programme director for the London School of Paediatrics.


    Mike Dickens, medical education manager

    Mike manages operational, strategic, financial, business and marketing matters in postgraduate medical education.

    He is a university administrative manager by background and has extensive experience working in higher education institutions in the UK and the US.

    He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Wesleyan University in the States.

    Shumontha oversees foundation training including promotion, content development and assessment.

  • Foundation programme coordinators

    Catherine Cameron, assistant manager (PGME) 

    Catherine works closely with the foundation programme directors and provides support to junior doctors, as well as coordinating the programme (including assessment, teaching and mandatory training courses).


    Adeniran Ikotun, training programme coordinator (diabetes and endocrinology service, renal and respiratory medicine)


    Molly Stevens, training programme coordinator (core surgical traing and ophthalmology)


    Annabel Balcombe, training programme coordinator (obstetrics and gynaecology)


    Sarah Coulson (nee Stephens), training programme coordinator (obstetrics and gynaecology)

  • Administration team

    Georgia Davis, events and education administrator

    Georgia does the booking for and setting up of events at the Sherman education centre, Guy's Hospital.


    Ola Famurewa, education and training coordinator (PGME)

    Ola organises the MRCP PACES (one day) course and various consultant education training courses.


    Mubina Issaji, postgraduate medical education administrator (study leave)


    Sharon McPherson, foundation programme administrator


    Annette Nansubuga, education and training coordinator (PGME)

    Annette organises the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health| membership MRCPCH) exam course and the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) PACES exam courses in conjunction with the Royal College of Physicians.

    She also organises other courses, including management for specialist registrars, developing teaching skills, GP updates, hot topics, and the master class in education.


    Tunu Akinrinlola, centre administrator to senior management team

    Tunu also provides support to the South London GP vocational training scheme, coordinates the weekly medical grand round, junior doctors leadership group and other special projects.


    Anne Ramlal, professional training administrator (SESA) (foundation team)

    Anne manages the study leave allocation costs for London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex anaesthetic registrars and the administration of the Southeast Region School of Anaesthesia.

    Anne is also the contact for anaesthetic trainee doctors on training and RITAs and ARCP days.


    Maggy Tiemdjo, PGME administrator

    Maggy is responsible for house cover room bookings and set-up at the Sherman education centre, Guy's Hospital, and provides administrative support for the foundation programme.
