Referrals for surgery can be made by cardiologists at St Thomas’ Hospital or other hospitals, including those in Kent, Surrey, Essex and the Channel Islands, for routine/urgent outpatient and in-patient transfers.
We also accept referrals from other areas as part of the Cardiac Patient Choice Initiative.
Referrals from other hospitals must include a completed Inter-Provider Minimum Data Set| or ensure that one is sent within 48 hours of referring a patient.
