Biography
Dr Hartmut Kristeleit completed his undergraduate studies at the Universities of Bonn (Germany), Lausanne (Switzerland) and Barts and The London School of Medicine.
He has a first class medical degree from Bonn University and performed his postgraduate and specialist training in London teaching hospitals.
He spent four years as an AVON clinical research fellow at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre investigating novel targets in familial breast cancer.
He was appointed as a consultant medical oncologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2009.

Specialist interests
Dr Kristeleit is an investigator on numerous clinical trials for breast cancer and chairs the oncology clinical trials committee at Guy’s and St Thomas’.
He gives regular lectures for the University of London and has been invited to speak at national conferences and international meetings.

Research interests
Dr Kristeleit has a keen research interest in the role of novel therapies for cancers.
