Biography
Dr Simon Steddon is a graduate of King’s College London and undertook his postgraduate training in both kidney and general medicine at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals. He studied for his PhD at Queen Mary College, University of London.
He has been a consultant nephrologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ since 2005. Simon has interests in all aspects of inpatient and out-patient nephrology including CKD, dialysis and transplantation. He is the principal clinician for our services in West Kent.

Specialist interests / clinical focus areas
Principal clinician for our outreach services based at the Tunbridge Wells Kidney Treatment Centre.
Management and service development. Dr Steddon has an MBA from the University of Westminster Business School.

Research interests
Research interests include the disorders of bone and mineral metabolism that accompany chronic kidney disease.
