  • Changing or cancelling your appointment 

    If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please email gst-tr.dsludermatologyreferrals@nhs.net or call 020 7188 6407 (reception answer phone).

  • Before your appointment

    You will be contacted directly by mail or telephone if there are any special requirements before your appointment.

  • What to expect at your appointment

    Please book in with our receptionist on arrival. Depending on your appointment type you will be seen by either a nurse or doctor.

    If having Mohs surgery please expect to be in the unit all day. If you are here for a follow up appointment we aim to see you within 30 minutes of your appointment time.

    As this is a teaching hospital, students supervised by qualified staff might be involved in your care. It is valuable training for students and does not affect the quality of your treatment in any way, but please tell us if you do not want them to be present or involved. We will always respect your wishes.

  • After your appointment 

    If you have had a procedure or treatment you will be given an information leaflet including any after care instructions.

    After your appointment you will be given a sheet to give to the receptionist. This will indicate if you need a follow up appointment or being discharged. Follow up appointments should be issued on the day.
