Referrals

Making a referral

We accept referrals from GPs and hospital consultants. Patients cannot self-refer.

We check all referrals and prioritise them according to medical need.

Referrals should be made in writing and addressed to Professor Rosalie Ferner. You can send them to us by email or post.

An EU reciprocal arrangement is in place for patients living outside the UK. Referral acceptance and appointments depend on receipt of funding from the patient's local health authority.

Referrals from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will also need approval from the patient's local health authority.
