Routine referrals

The centre accepts tertiary referrals from the UK and abroad for cancer, cardiology, neurology and neuro-psychiatry conditions that comply with accepted clinical applications for PET/CT scanning and ionising radiation (medical exposure) regulations - IRME(R).

Some PCTs require pre-authorisation for funding of certain referral criteria. Please contact us for more information.

Urgent referrals

Please email urgent referrals to gst-tr.PETCentre@nhs.net and state clearly the reason for the urgency.
