At your first visit we will ask you some questions about your general and sexual health. Please let us know if any of this information changes when you come for future appointments.
You will be given your own personal clinic number. Please bring this number with you every time you attend our clinic as it will speed up your visit.
You may see a doctor, nurse or client support worker depending on your needs. During your consultation you will be asked more questions about your medical and sexual history. Your blood pressure and weight may also be measured.
If you have come regarding pregnancy or contraception, please try and remember when your last period started.
If you would like to have someone with you during your consultation, please tell a member of the team. You can bring a friend or relative, or alternatively a member of our team.
Confidentiality
We will not tell other people about your visit. It is up to you to tell them if you wish. This applies to everyone, including those under 16 years of age.
We will only pass on confidential information without your permission if we need to protect you or someone else from very serious harm. We will always discuss this with you first.
If you want to know more about confidentiality, please ask one of the clinic staff.
