Sensory re-education

This leaflet gives you more information about using sensory re-education as a way to help you to recover from your hand injury if your nerves have been injured. It also teaches you how to recognise different textures and shapes with your injured hand.

This leaflet shows you how to perform the hand exercises your therapist has given you.

Thumb extensor repairs

Description:
Your tendon(s) is becoming stronger but is still not fully healed. It will take a further eightweeks for the tendon(s) to heal and before you can return to heavy activities.This sheet describes some exercises you should do each day to help your thumb toheal.
