Types of accommodation available
The accommodation department manages a range of accommodation for staff, patients and visitors.
Simon Hotel
If the team caring for you feels that you don't need to stay on a ward during your treatment, but that you still need to be nearby in case you need to have medical attention, they may refer you to the Simon Hotel, based at St Thomas'.
Counting House Lodge and Gassiot House Lodge
Counting House Lodge at Guy's and Gassiot House Lodge at St Thomas' provide rooms which can be booked on a nightly basis by:

pre/post-appointment patients

accompanying relatives, carers and visitors.
The rooms are specifically designed to provide a non-clinical, safe and relaxing environment for guests, whilst having the reassurance of being a stone's throw away from the main hospital buildings.
Rooms are available to be booked on a nightly basis at a charge of £55 per night for a single room and £65 per night for a twin room.
Gassiot House also has accommodation designed for disabled guests.
Staff
We have short-term accommodation staff can use while they are looking for private accommodation.
