Congratulations to all the members who have been elected. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate themselves and stand for election.

There were 66 candidates who nominated themselves for election to 11 seats on the Council of Governors:

• 2 in the patient constituency: carer class (for 1 seat)
• 21 in patient constituency: Guy's and St Thomas' patient class (for 3 seats)
• 14 in public constituency: area around Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals class (for 3 seats)
• 8 in public constituency: area around Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals (for 1 seat)
• 8 in public constituency: area rest of England and Wales (for 1 seat)
• 13 in staff constituency: Guy's and St Thomas' non-clinical staff class (for 2 seats)

The next elections to the Council of Governors will be held in spring 2027. The elections will be for the following vacancies:

• 1 in the patient constituency: carer class
• 4 in patient constituency: Guy's and St Thomas' patient class
• 3 in patient constituency: Guy's and St Thomas' patient class
• 5 in public constituency: area around Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals class
• 3 in staff constituency: Guy's and St Thomas' clinical staff class
• 1 in staff constituency: Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals clinical staff class
• 1 in staff constituency: Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals non- clinical staff class
• 1 in staff constituency: Guy's and St Thomas' community class
