Filming and photography guidance

Guy's and St Thomas'

Given the unique location of our hospitals, we receive a large number of requests for filming and photography.

We cannot agree to all requests and reserve the right to decline.

We have a duty to protect the confidentiality of our patients, so photography and filming is not allowed in some areas.

Anyone found filming or photographing without the permission of our communications team will be asked to leave immediately and footage and photographs may be confiscated.

Filming requests

Please note that we charge for commercial filming or photography on our sites and our capacity to accept these requests is very limited. Email [email protected] for more information.

During filming and photography

Film crews and photographers must have a a member of staff with them at all times. There may be additional costs if security staff need to be present.

No patients or staff should be filmed without obtaining proper consent. Our procedures, such as those to control infections, must be respected and followed.
