Cash office move improves access

A modern and accessible cashiers office - that helps around 2,000 patients a month with the cost of getting to our hospitals – has been opened on the ground floor of Tower Wing, Guy’s Hospital. 

The impressive new office has a bright and spacious waiting area and provides a low level cash counter for patients and wheelchair users. Previously housed at the top of steps in Counting House the offices can now be accessed easily by all patients.

Director of Finance, Martin Shaw, officially opened the office. He said: “I am delighted to open the new office. It has been designed with patients in mind so that anyone who needs help with travel to our hospitals can get the support and advice that they need, quickly and efficiently.”
