Council of Governors elections 2015

Now is your chance to make your voice heard and have your say as a governor.

As a Foundation Trust, we are accountable to our local community and our staff through our membership and the Council of Governors which includes elected representatives of the public, patients and staff - as voted for by members.

This spring, the Trust is holding the Council of Governors elections.

Fourteen seats are becoming available:

• five seats in the patient constituency
• five seats in the public constituency
• four seats in the staff constituency (one in the 'non clinical' category and three in the 'clinical' category.

Call for nominations will open on Tuesday 24 March and close on Tuesday 21 April.

If you are a member you will receive information in the post over the next few days about how to stand for election. If you are not yet a member and would like to stand to become a governor please register here by the Tuesday 14 April.

Whether or not you decide to stand for the position, we would encourage all members to vote in the forthcoming election. The ballot papers will be sent out from Tuesday 12 May. The election will close on Friday 5 June and the results will be announced shortly afterwards.
