Have your say - become a governor

Now is your chance to make your voice heard and have your say.

As a Foundation Trust, we are accountable to our local community and our staff through our membership and the Council of Governors which includes elected representatives of the public, patients and staff - as voted for by members.

The voices of our patients, members of the public and staff are vital in ensuring that our services meet the needs of our communities now and in the future.

This spring, the Trust is holding the Council of Governors elections.

Seven seats are becoming available:

  • three seats in the patient constituency
  • three seats in the public constituency
  • one seat in the staff constituency (in the non-clinical staff group).

Nominations are now open and will close on 19 April

If you are a member, you should have received information about how to stand for election in the post.

If you are not yet a member and would like to stand to become a governor, please register and contact our membership office on [email protected] or 020 7188 7346 to find out how to nominate yourself.

Whether or not you decide to stand for nomination, we would encourage all members to vote in the forthcoming election. The ballot papers will be sent out from 11 May. The election will close on 3 June and the results will be announced shortly afterwards.

If you would like to become a member and vote in the Council of Governors election, please register by 19 April.
