Evelina research team shortlisted for award

Nursing staff from Evelina London are in the running for a major national award in recognition of their research work.

Liz Reus, senior research nurse, and her team have been shortlisted in the Nursing Times Awards 2015.

Over the past three years they have been training various nursing teams at Evelina London to promote awareness of good clinical practice in research.

Janet Powell, Director of Nursing, says: “We’re really proud and excited that our colleagues have been nominated for this award.

“Their hard work has helped other nursing staff increase their knowledge of clinical research and how best to provide high quality care to patients taking part in clinical trials.”

The finalists for the Nursing Times Awards 2015 will be announced in November
