The mum of a patient at the Evelina Children’s Hospital has donated over £11,000 to help children with heart problems.

Victoria Holington raised the money by hosting a glamorous charity ball with celebrity guests and running the London Marathon.

Victoria is mum to Tyler, 6, who has been treated at the Evelina since he was a baby for a heart problem known as Tetralogy of Fallot.

“I’m so grateful to the doctors at the Evelina for everything they’ve done for Tyler,” said Victoria.

The funds will go towards specialist equipment and treatment for children with heart problems at the Evelina.

Victoria has many more fundraising plans in the pipeline, including another ball at Orsett Hall in Essex later this year.
