Nominate an NHS Hero!

What makes an NHS Hero? It could be a friendly face offering directions around our hospitals or that special someone who cared for you during your stay in hospital.

Do you know an individual or team who is doing exceptional work to improve the lives of our patients? Then here’s your chance to help them receive national recognition.

NHS Heroes is a new scheme to recognise the great work of staff working in the NHS. Patients and their families can nominate staff at www.nhsheroes.com.

Eileen Sills, Chief Nurse said: “I constantly come across people and teams who are dedicated, committed and doing fantastic work here. This new scheme is a wonderful opportunity for that work to be recognised and celebrated nationally.
