Retired governor reports on London 2012 village life

Staff and patients are going all out to get involved in the London 2012 Games this summer. We have opening ceremony volunteers, VIP chaperones, torchbearers, and medical first responders amongst others and now, our recently retired governor Victoria Silvester, has revealed that she will be helping to produce the London 2012 Athlete’s magazine.

Victoria is one of 12 Games Maker reporters who will work alongside two additional staff editors, two designers and a small team of French translators. Each edition of the magazine will consist of 8 pages of daily news about athletes and for athletes on all three London 2012 Games sites.

Victoria was a governor at Guy's and St Thomas' for 6 years. She led the patient experience working group and was instrumental in improving the experience of our out-patients. She also worked closely with dietitians to ensure we provide the best food for our patients.
