Staff get active to raise money for our hospitals

Staff across our hospitals gave up their breaks to get physical during an ultimate Zumbathon yesterday afternoon to raise money for the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity.

The Latin-inspired dance fitness session lasted for a tiring 207 minutes in the marquee at St Thomas’ – with staff coming and going throughout the afternoon. All the money raised will go towards vital services or equipment at Guy’s, St Thomas’, or Evelina Children’s Hospital. 

The zumbathon was held as part of our 2012 Challenge, which encourages staff to compete in challenges in the 5 themes of the Olympic Games.
