Surgeon nominates patient for Scoliosis Association Roll of Honour

Seven-year-old Sophie Tucker was recently nominated for the Scolosis Association (SAUK) Roll of Honour by her surgeon at Evelina Children’s Hospital, Mr Lucas.

Places are awarded every year on SAUK’s Roll of Honour to children and adults who have shown outstanding courage while undergoing treatment for scoliosis.

Mr Lucas nominated her for the spinal award for her courage and happy nature while coping with many hospital admissions and operations on her spine. 

Sophie has been a patient at Evelina Children’s Hospital since she was a few months old and is known by many staff across the hospital.
